Pumpkin's Story

Meet Pumpkin Pumpkin is a sweet 1.5–2-year-old Cairn Terrier who was found wandering alone in the desert. A kind Good Samaritan scooped her up, gave her a bath, a good meal, and checked for a microchip — but none was found. That’s when CCAR stepped in to make sure Pumpkin got everything she needed. She’s now fully vaccinated (including Rabies), and she is spayed! This little girl has been through a lot and can be a bit shy at first — but with patience, love, and kindness, she’s going to blossom into the happiest companion. Once she feels safe, her gentle, loving personality begins to shine. Pumpkin is currently being fostered in the High Desert and is ready to meet her forever family! We will send you an application. We will ask for a video of your home inside and out. We will set up meet and greet. If you and the animal seem to be a good fit we will move forward with the adoption. You will sign an adoption contract. And take your furever pal home with you!
