PUMBA's Story
Meet Pumba … another dumped Amish special that someone had to have, never socialized, couldn’t handle and then dumped on a country road. Pumba is a smart, active, agile guy who loves to play ball. He is not a constant companion kinda of pet, he’s an on the go adventurist who expects you to follow him. He definitely has barrier issues meaning he can be absolutely obnoxious when it is time to come out of his crate and he does well with being rewarded for getting in his crate. He seems to enjoy playing with other dogs, but again he is the leader. Pumba is a dog who would thrive with routine, lots of exercise and no small children. He is crate trained and mostly housebroken. He would benefit from an obedience class and would like love an agility class.

He is a 9 month old ( as of posting 4/17/26) Husky Pomeranian mix (Pomsky), about 30lbs.

*NO YOUNG CHILDREN

If you would like to meet PUMBA please complete an application for adoption, copy and paste this link into your browser

https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form1/
Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
