Bernie's Rescue Crew's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters begin by submitting an application through our Google Form, available on our Facebook page. Our team reviews each application carefully, contacts references, and determines whether the home may be a good fit for the dog in question. We then arrange two meet-and-greets: one in a public setting and another at the potential adopter’s home. If other pets are in the household, we require a successful introduction between them and the adoptable dog prior to final approval. For those who wish to ensure the best possible fit, we also offer a foster-to-adopt option, allowing the dog to transition gradually into their new home before finalizing the adoption.
