Puddin''s Story

Meet Puddin’ - an 11-month-old, 25lb chihuahua mix with a shy, sweet soul and a goofy little personality that shines once he’s comfortable. He’s a nervous guy at first, but when he feels safe, he’s playful, cuddly on his own terms, and full of adorable squeaks and tiny moans to express his “big feelings.”

Puddin’ has a moderate energy level and loves other dogs. Being around confident pups makes him braver, happier, and more relaxed, he copies what they do and thrives with canine companionship. Because of that, he really needs a dog buddy in his future home. He enjoys rough-and-tumble play, bitey-face with friends, and snuggling up against other dogs.

He’s wary of being grabbed or picked up suddenly, but he’s gentle and has never shown aggression - he just tries to wiggle away. Respectful kids should be fine, especially since he’s small and noise doesn’t bother him.

A yard is important for him, as he’s still nervous about leashes and hasn’t started formal leash walks yet. He’s working on potty training and heads to the back door, but can’t always hold it. He does well in the car and does best crated when unattended so he doesn’t sneak off with “treasures” like clothes.

He’s not a jumper, isn’t a barker, and hasn’t chewed anything inappropriate - though he’ll happily try to steal soft items if given a chance. He loves toys, bones, and all kinds of doggy play.

Puddin’ is a tender, silly, dog-loving pup who just needs a patient family, a dog buddy, and a calm space to help him build confidence.

Interested in adopting Puddin’?

Apply at: https://www.thedogrescuesociety.net/adopt
info@thedogrescuesociety.net
www.thedogrescuesociety.net
