Puckett's Story

Meet Puckett! Puckett is a medium-sized brown-and-white mixed-breed pup who has already overcome so much. She was found as a stray and arrived at the shelter emaciated and in need of care. With plenty of love and support, Puckett is now at a healthy weight and ready to start the next chapter of her life in a home of her own.Since Puckett has been raised at the shelter, she’s still learning all about being a house dog. She’ll need a patient family who can help her learn her house manners and show her the ropes, but she’s very food motivated and eager to learn. With the right encouragement, she’s sure to blossom!Puckett is also still building her confidence around other dogs. She does best with calm, respectful canine friends who understand her need to take things at her own pace.Puckett has come such a long way, and now she’s ready for the part she’s been waiting for—a loving family, a cozy home, and all the little joys that come with being someone’s beloved dog. She may need a little patience as she learns, but she has so much potential and so much love to give. What her adoption fee covers:âœ... Spayâœ... Vaccinesâœ... Microchipâœ... Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Puckett? Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application.Adoption Fee: $250For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.org
