Puchi

Puchi had his dental last week and had 5 teeth extracted. Not only does his breath smell much better, but you can already tell he's feeling better too. We are glad those painful teeth are gone and that he's on the road to feeling his best. Puchi is a sweetheart who quickly wins over everyone he meets. He will do best in a home where someone works from home or is home most of the time and doesn't mind sharing their lap. He bonds very quickly with his person and needs a home where he's allowed to sleep in bed at night. His foster mom says he sleeps on her back all night long! While Puchi loves his naps, he also enjoys playing with other small dogs and would love a small canine companion in his forever home. Puchi is potty trained but may mark for the first day or two in a new environment. He does great for baths and nail trims, is a quiet little guy, and gets very excited for treats. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
