He spent two long years at East Chicago Animal Control, where life wasn’t kind — he was even attacked by another dog, which led to his little nub tail. But that tough chapter is behind him now, and Nubs has blossomed into the loyal, affectionate, goofy companion he was always meant to be.<br/><br/>Since coming into foster care, Nubs has graduated twice from obedience classes and continues to impress with his smarts and focus. He knows loose leash walking, heel, place, sit, down, spin, and even does a little happy dance for his breakfast. He’ll stay politely in a “down” while you eat your dinner — manners fit for a gentleman!<br/><br/>Nubs enjoys peaceful days watching TV, playing gently with his toys, and soaking up affection from his people. He’s great with cats, dogs (big and small), and even birds when introduced properly.
