I’m Princeton, a big scruffy ball of energy looking for someone who can keep up with me! I’ve got a heart full of love and a playful spirit, but I’ll be honest, I can be a bit stubborn. I have been adopted once before but was sadly returned due to my energy level and play biting. Since being back, my shelter friends have worked with me tremendously on it and have now found a method so that I stop and redirect my focus. I need a strong leader who will teach me good manners with patience and consistency. I have lots of energy, so a vigorous lifestyle will suit me best. I’m looking for a home with no young children or small animals since I have no prior experience or socialization with them. If you love hiking, running, or just playing until we’re both exhausted, I’m your guy! I’m still working on my social skills and play style, so I’ll need someone who’s willing to help me learn the ropes. I have been in a shelter for the majority of my life, so I won’t be familiar with household routines, basic commands, or even simple things like stairs or furniture. <br/>-Experience with training, and/or under-socialized dogs. <br/>-Exercise and Mental Stimulation. Dogs with limited past experiences often have pent-up energy and curiosity. Regular exercise, enrichment activities, and puzzle toys will help me thrive and prevent boredom.
