Princeton's Story

**WE DO NOT RESPOND TO APPLICATIONS MADE ON PETFINDER. YOU MUST APPLY ON OUR LINK WHICH IS BELOW**

Princeton is an approximately 10-year-old, 17 lb. neutered male schnauzer (possibly a mix) with a huge heart and a spunky personality. He is one of those dogs who wakes up excited for the day and is simply happy to be around people. He is looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopter.

For a 10-year-old, Princeton is surprisingly spry and runs like a gazelle, but he is not high energy. He enjoys short walks and exploring, but he is just as happy curling up for cuddles and relaxing with you. He’ll curl up in his favorite donut bed by your chair. At night he is snuggling with you in bed, often under the covers. You can’t help but fall in love with him. He would love to have someone who is home most of the day. He also loves a little adventure and is always excited to hop in the car for a ride.

Princeton walks great on a leash and has been good with cats and small dogs. He does have some food guarding tendencies that can lead to a little scuffle if dogs are free-feeding together. This is easily managed by feeding dogs at set times and keeping them separate during meals.

Princeton previously had some incontinence, but he is now on medication that has helped significantly, and he is almost fully recovered from this issue. He currently wears a belly band, which he tolerates very well, but this may not be needed long-term as he continues to improve. Otherwise, he does great in the home. A home with a fenced-in yard would be preferred.

Princeton is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. He also recently had a dental cleaning.

Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/4u3tuy5c
-Due to the high volume of applications, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
