Since arriving her foster mom has seen a huge change in her personality. She is gaining confidence in the last week to where she has attended a couple of the rescue events and handled them quite well for a few hours. She plays with another shepherd mix male in the foster home that is about 1 1/2 years old. She would make a great companion for a home with another dog that would play with her - possibly a male that is a little older than her and has a calm demeaner.<br/><br/>She walks well on leash & knows her name. She loves to go on car rides and is very quiet in the vehicle. She crates easily and is crate trained and house broken. She does need a 6' fenced, secure yard as she can be considered a flight risk. Princess Thea, as we are calling her because she looks so regal. She would be awesome in a home with children that are 16 or older. Or a home with adults only.<br/><br/>Since she is starting to adjust to being in a home environment. As she is hearing the sights and sounds of a real home, we feel a more quiet home would be ideal for her. She is very precious and sweet.<br/><br/>Please keep in mind as a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed and been approved.<br/><br/>We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We don’t adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 or the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.
