Princess's Story
Princess is around five months old, and weighs twenty-five pounds. She is suspected to be a Labrador Retriever mix. She is a very playful puppy, who loves toys and a good game of fetch. She will even entertain herself by picking her toys up and throwing them if nobody else is playing with her.

Princess has some developmental orthopedic abnormalities affecting her legs, which causes her to have some minor issues with mobility. These abnormalities primarily consist of differences between the size and thickness of her bones. Her veterinarians do not know what caused these abnormalities, and do not expect them to go away. However, these abnormalities do not cause her pain, and she is able to have a good quality of life as she is now.

Princess will need a home that can accommodate her mobility issues and manage any issues that may arise in the future, as her veterinarians advised that the abnormalities in her joints could lead to arthritis later in her life.

Princess will be spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped prior to her adoption being finalized. If you are interested in giving Princess her forever home, please give us a call at 218-237-7100 or e-mail us at Dogs@headwatersanimalshelter.org
