Princess's Story

Princess, along with 6 other chihuahuas were displaced by a house fire. Princess and her 6 Chihuahua friends all lived in one home, and we believe they were not house broken, but probably pad trained.
Their owner was unable to find suitable housing after the fire and was unable to take them back or care for them. Paws Rescue League saved Princess and her 6 friends from the shelter, along with 12 other dogs who needed to be rescued.

Princess is described by her foster as a sweetheart, who is curious and loves attention, she follows her sister Rosies lead. She gets along with other dogs, she's currently in a foster home with 6 other small dogs. She tested well with a very dog savvy 6 year old, we suggest no children or older children who know how to respect a dogs space. She has been doing potty outside often in her fosters home.

Princess is not currently spayed, but Paws Rescue League will provide a spay/neuter voucher that will cover the cost of spay/neuter only that can be used through our partnering vet offices in CT. If you choose to have her spayed through your own vet, the voucher is forfeited, and you will need to send proof of spay to Paws Rescue League within 3 months from the date of the adoption.

Our Mission
Working in rescue for over a decade, we were tired of only seeing puppies, young, and pre vetted dogs getting saved. While the dog in the back with the leg that needs amputation gets passed by. We want to make a difference by saving the dogs who actually need to be saved. Most of these dogs won't get out unless WE rescue th...
