Hi! My name is Princess Diamond! They named me that because I am a pure JEWEL. Truly an angel. A gentle giant. I've heard them say I'm the sweetest thing ever. They have no doubt I'm a Border Collie. However, I'm quite a bit taller and larger than a typical Border Collie. I wonder if I may have some Golden Retriever mixed in or something. They think I might. I dunno. It doesn't matter anyway. I'm perfect, regardless. I weigh 70 lbs now & they want me to gain about 5 or so more pounds. They believe I may be 4 years old (the vet said between 3-5 yrs), but my teeth are pretty white so I may be younger. I'm absolutely gorgeous. I have the most beautiful black and white hair. It's only about two inches long, with exception of my big, beautiful, bushy tail. My tail hair is about 6 inches. I'm very intelligent and EXTREMELY loyal. I've already learned to walk perfectly on a leash. AND I love to take car rides! I hop right in when they tell me too. But my favorite thing to do is to run, play & splash in the creek with another big doggie! I love doggies! However, if ya just wanna lay around & hang out, I won't complain about that either. I hate to brag, but you couldn't find a more perfect gal than me. So "you" better be amazing too! <br/>My story is long, but it's a must read: I was very quietly and calmly walking the streets and nobody was stopping to check on me or pick me up. Thankfully, Sheree' @ Heaven's Lil Angels Animal Sanctuary just happened to see me and realized there was something about my demeanor and my look that just didn't seem right. There was something wrong! She knew it. She immediately pulled over and called for me. The traffic wouldn't even stop. They just kept on driving around me and her. Sheree' picked me up and took me home to where I got a long, leisurely bath. I was so exhausted that I ended up laying in the bath tub while she picked about TWO HUNDRED ticks off of me. She called the local Dog Warden and also posted my photos all over Facebook. But still, nothing. I went to the doctor the following week and got up to date with my vaccinations, got spayed and microchipped, and they ran a bunch of tests. They discovered why I was so quiet, calm and lethargic. I had Ehrlichia from the ticks. And I had double ear infection. But guess what? Now I'm doing great! I'm taking antibiotics, eating yummy food and I'm back to being a happy gal! They believe I was probably close to death, but I bounced back so quickly and have nothing to worry about. <br/>I'm looking for a mommy or daddy who will love me forever and ever. But my most favorite thing of all time is running & playing & splashing in the creek with another big doggie. I seem to love all humans, doggies and kitties. I deserve the very best life has to offer. I hope you will teach me new things because I'm a people pleaser and I catch on quickly. I've learned to walk perfectly on a leash.
