Princess, Female, 1 year old<br/><br/>Meet Princess!<br/>This 1 year old gal is a sweet, shy, gentle soul. She dreams of happiness in a loving home, and a short shelter stay. Princess lived with other dogs previously, and may like a gentle companion in her new home. She’s also good with cats!! Princess does have a timid, submissive demeanor, and will blossom with a patient adopter who can continue to help her gain confidence. Princess absolutely loves to nestle by your side, with her head on your lap. And- she lives for belly rubs, lots and lots of sweet belly rubs!! Princess weighs 43 pounds. Let’s help her find the most perfect home!!<br/><br/>Princess enjoyed a sleepover with one of our fantastic volunteer families and she was soooo good!! Princess made herself right at home, as if she lived there her whole life! Her favorite activity besides snuggles with the humans- was cuddling with the two resident dogs! Princess was absolutely fine with the cats in the home as well. Princess is an absolute gem. Just a gem of a dog!!<br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. <br/><br/>If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.<br/><br/>Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
