Princess is one of those dogs.<br/><br/>At just 4 months old, this sweet mixed-breed girl was dumped alongside a rural highway and left to fend for herself. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan spotted her and stepped in. When she was rescued, Princess was dreadfully thin and covered in ticks. She had clearly not had the start to life that any puppy deserves.<br/><br/>And yet... sweet? Oh my. <br/><br/>Princess is unbelievably gentle and loving. It's hard to imagine how a puppy who has already experienced such neglect can still be so trusting and affectionate. She seems to understand that she's safe now—and she's ready to soak up every bit of love she can get.<br/><br/>We're not quite sure what breeds make up this beautiful girl. She's lanky and lean, with long legs, an elegant build and a gorgeous golden-tan coat. Whatever her recipe is, they certainly made a pretty special puppy!<br/><br/>Princess is now getting the good food, care, attention and love she should have had all along.
