Princess's Story

Meet Her Majesty: Princess

They say you can't buy love, but you can certainly rescue it. While her paperwork might say Princess, one look at her regal gaze and composed demeanor tells you everything you need to know: we are in the presence of a Queen.

This soulful senior German Shepherd has traded the frantic energy of youth for a refined, deep-seated devotion. She doesn't just sit by your side; she anchors your soul. Princess is the type of dog who gives gentle head nudges, looking for a partner who understands that while her pace may have slowed, her capacity to love has only grown.

This regal beauty is as smart as she is kind. She's always there to offer you a paw to hold - and all she asks in return is the same love and loyalty she so freely gives.

Princess is a truly special soul who has made a massive impact on our staff. We are searching for a committed adopter who views her senior years not as a burden, but as a privilege to witness. She is seeking a forever kingdom that can offer her a peaceful, settled lifestyle where she can give her whole heart and never be left behind again.

Princess prefers a "Serta Standard of Living." We're talking orthopedic bed lifestyle. Her future family should be prepared to provide high-quality nutrition, cozy comforts, and senior-specific veterinary care to help this majestic large-breed girl stay comfortable and thriving.

If you are a serious dog lover with a big heart, Princess is ready to retire in style with you.

Ready to give this Queen the crown she deserves? C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. This helps reduce pet overpopulation in the Ozarks - the highest in the country. Each animal is current on vaccinations. Both dogs and cats must receive three total sets of vaccinations to prevent deadly animal diseases. All animals at C.A.R.E. are kept current on their vaccinations while in our care (All animals are vaccinated for Bordetella or "kennel cough", DA2PPV, CVK-puppies, DA2PPV, Lepto-adult dogs, FVRCP-C-kittens & adult cats). Dogs and cats above the age of 12 weeks old also receive their rabies shots and are sent home with a rabies certificate, collar, & rabies tag. If a puppy or kitten is adopted before they have received the total three vaccinations, it is the responsibility of the adopter to provide them. Each animal has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Worms are parasites that can cause serious damage to your pet. C.A.R.E. deworms all of the animals in our care.
