Princess's Story

Princess is a lovely lady at about 10 years young. Don't let her age fool you because she's still ready to go on adventures and run around a yard. Since she is older, her "zoomies" aren't quite as exuberant as they used to be, but she still has that pep in her step! She's lived with other dogs and has met new dogs here at the shelter and she's done well. Princess has shown nice manners in her kennel or while hanging out in the office and keeps her area tidy. We heard from someone who knew Princess and said that there were several cats on the property, but didn't say if she did well with them or not. Princess loves to dip half of her body in a kiddie pool, go for walks, relax in a comfy spot, and be doted on with affection. She came to us with a lesion on her back that was suspected to be cancer, luckily she has received the removal surgery necessary (thanks to a very generous donor) and she's all healed up and ready to live out her golden years. If you're looking for a well-mannered, goofy, senior girl, Princess could be the one for you!

She's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. There is no fee to take Princess home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
