Princess's Story

FOSTER or ADOPT Perfect Princess! <br/>This 20-pound 2-year-old girl was moments away from being euthanized at the Devore Shelter. I can’t believe this beautiful angel was gonna perish from this earth for no good reason. She is literally perfect in every single way. I’m not exaggerating. I absolutely love this girl. I wish I could keep her. She is the sweetest, most gentle, smart, obedient, affectionate, loyal dog you could ever ask for. I know we’re gonna find her the perfect home that will cherish her for the rest of her life. If you’re able to foster her while we search for her home, you will not regret it. Or if you would like to make her a part of your forever family please reach out. I’m telling you, you’ll be the luckiest person in the world. She’s fully potty trained, no accidents, perfect on the leash, great on car rides, good with every dog I introduce her to. Confident at the dog park, healthy, young, and just absolutely beautiful. We even took her to lazy dog for a lunch, and she was so well behaved as if she’s done this 1000 times. Heck, we took her to an adoption event three days of getting out of the shelter and she was a professional. She is so dainty and light on her feet. A cuddle bug, lap dog. I literally think she’s perfect in every single way. I haven’t found anything that she needs to work on. Nothing. Blows my mind, she ended up as a stray in the shelter about to be

Callies Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
The major steps are the adoption application and agreement, the interview(s), the home check, ID and social media verification, the meet and greet, a $600 tax deductible adoption fee, transfer of medical records, and planning the best day to bring your new family member home. We always recommend it be earlier in the day when the home will be calm for a few days. And we are there to guide the family through every step of the decompression and settling-in phase.
