His goofy nature makes him a joy to have around.<br/><br/>Pretzel is also a clever little escape artist who enjoys digging, so he’ll need a secure yard and supervision during outdoor time. He does well in our shelter environment and thrives when he has attention, enrichment, and routine.<br/><br/>Pretzel was previously returned due to behavioral challenges, so he’s looking for an adult-only home with an experienced owner who can provide structure, training, and consistency. He does best with confident leadership and clear boundaries. In the right home, Pretzel will be a loyal and entertaining companion.<br/><br/>Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
