Meet Preston

Preston is a handsome & loving, 7 year old Great Dane! Since being dumped at an overcrowded shelter, he has flourished with a little TLC & proper medical care. Preston truly doesn't know a stranger & loves to make new dog friends! Some of his favorite things consist of taking baths outside & drinking from the water hose, big dog beds, soft fleece blankets, & being in the company of those that love him. Preston will provide an endless amount of love for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him! We did discover that Preston has an abnormally shaped heart simply due to genetics which does require monthly medication for stability. (Cost of medication is about $120/mo through Allivet) His eyes also do not produce enough tears & that is also managed with lubricant ointment once-twice a day, which he tolerates just fine, as I think he knows it helps him out. We were advised by his vet that due to the condition of his heart, he is not an ideal candidate for heavy anesthesia, making him unable to be neutered; While this doesn't effect Preston's temperament or behavior, we do require that all pets in the adoptive home be altered in order to proceed with his adoption.
Preston is a soldier! He is so appreciative & resilient, you would never know he was once so neglected. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, & ready to love you! Can you make room for this big love bug & give him the chance to live life to the fullest?
