Prada's Story

Meet our newest little survivor, Prada! This sweet dachshund mix mama was recently rescued from a shelter in Texas after arriving there pregnant and scared. She gave birth shortly after entering the shelter, and heartbreakingly, only one of her puppies survived. Through it all, she kept loving, trusting, and fighting for a better future. Now, it’s finally her turn. <br/><br/>She’s officially looking for her forever home — one filled with patience, safety, soft beds, and all the love she’s always deserved. While we’re still getting to know her personality, what we do know already is that she is incredibly deserving of an amazing life after everything she’s been through. Tattered Paws and Golden Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy
Once we receive a completed application we schedule a Q&A call with the applicant to answer any questions they might have about adopting from us. Then an adoption coordinator is assigned to the applicant and they work with them to decide what dog would be the best fit for their home and lifestyle. Prior to being approved for adoption we complete a vet check and home visit and then finally schedule a meet & greet so they can meet the dog.
