POWDER's Story
Powder is great on the leash. She is still learning about things such as grass and how to run, and will have more experience with those once she is vaccinated. For now she has enjoyed laying on the concrete to soak up the sun. She is shy but warming up to myself and my senior dog quickly. She knows when to walk away if overstimulated or nervous, and simply wants a nice corner to curl up in. I have not been crate training her, but I'm sure if you introduced the idea of a crate as a safe space, she may take to it. She's been learning how to be a pup from my own dog. She's quick to copy him, nudge him, and follow his lead. This has been great at teaching her where to go potty - which even when left alone for six hours, we had no accidents inside! She's been excellent so far, very gentle. She has begun giving the occasional face kisses of approval when you scratch her neck in the right way.

-She is gentle on a lead. Her energy levels are rising as she gets more comfortable, but she still is well mannered.

-She knows “sit” and is learning more daily.

-She adores the grass. Simply laying in it makes her smile!

-She is being crate trained for when I leave the home, given some incidents of chewing up blankets and cloth items when left unattended. She appears to have some separation anxiety signs when left home alone. During the night, she is a good pup and doesn't chew up anything but her toys.
