🐾 Hi! I’m Possum... apparently I’m the LAST one of my litter still looking for my forever family. 🥺<br/><br/>Honestly, I’m a little confused.<br/><br/>Did everyone accidentally skip over me? Because I have been working VERY hard on my résumé, and I think you’ll find I’m highly qualified in several important puppy departments:<br/><br/>✨ Zoomies<br/>✨ Couch snuggles<br/>✨ Ball chasing<br/>✨ Supervising the neighbourhood from the porch<br/>✨ Following my humans everywhere<br/>✨ Making children ridiculously happy<br/>✨ Soaking up sunny spots on the floor<br/>✨ Eating breakfast with tremendous enthusiasm<br/><br/>See? Extremely employable.<br/><br/>I’m a happy, affectionate, playful girl with LOTS of puppy energy and an even bigger personality. I love being with my people, and my foster’s grandkids, who are 7 and 8, visit almost every day. I absolutely LOVE when they come over!<br/><br/>I’ve had limited opportunities to meet other dogs while I finish up my vaccinations, but let me tell you — I am VERY interested in those puppy-looking creatures walking past my house. Bigger dogs can make me a little nervous right now, but dogs around my size look like potential new best friends. I don’t need another dog in my forever home, but an appropriate canine sibling could be a pretty great bonus for a busy girl like me.<br/><br/>I’m also making excellent progress on all those boring puppy responsibilities. I’m getting there with housetraining, working on crate training, and I already sleep through the night most nights until around 6 a.m. I’m not exactly the president of the Crate Appreciation Society, but I settle down and snooze when I need to.<br/><br/>Now, in the interest of full disclosure...<br/><br/>I am a puppy.<br/><br/>Sometimes I believe things on counters were obviously placed there for me. Occasionally I investigate household objects with my teeth. And I have energy. Lots of glorious, bouncing, zooming energy. 😂<br/><br/>Because I’m still young and learning about this big world, I’ll need a fenced yard, active humans who will continue my training, and a family ready for all the fun and mischief that comes with raising a puppy. Apartment or attached living probably isn't my best match because I sometimes like to announce when my humans leave or return.<br/><br/>But underneath all that puppy silliness is a really sweet girl. ❤️<br/><br/>Every day I’m becoming more confident. I love my humans, I love adventures, I love to play...and when all that important puppy business is finished, I’m more than happy to curl up beside you on the couch.<br/><br/>My littermates have found their people.<br/><br/>Now I’m just waiting for mine.<br/><br/>Maybe being the last one doesn’t mean I was forgotten.<br/><br/>Maybe it just means my family hasn’t found me yet. 🥹🐾<br/><br/>Love,<br/>Possum 💕
