Posey is a young, sweet, female pit bull terrier that was found as a stray and brought to Animal Control. While her story is all too common and not special by any means, this little girl has a remarkable personality that made her special enough for me to want to save her. I met several other dogs that day that either ignored me or were only interested in me because I had food. But Posey was different. Posey didn't care that I had treats, or that there were toys in the room, or that the AC workers that she had grown to know and love were there. She wanted to sit in my lap and be loved on by me. And she's like this with every new person she meets. She is a total doll....one that melts all the stereotypes of her breed away.
