Meet Portobello from the Mushroom Litter! <br/><br/>Portobello is a playful little guy with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun! This adorable boy is all puppy — curious, goofy, and currently embracing life one chomp at a time. He loves to play and keeps everyone entertained with his silly antics and enthusiastic puppy energy. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>While he enjoys being around other dogs, the really big dogs can make him a little nervous when they get extra excited. Portobello is learning that the world isn't so scary... although chickens and ducks are currently at the top of his “not so sure about that” list. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>This smart little mushroom is already off to a great start with potty-training, too — he made it through his first day and night without any accidents in the house!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>And when playtime is over? Portobello's favorite place to be is tucked behind your back for a cozy snuggle and a well-earned puppy nap. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>He's a sweet mix of playful and sensitive, with just enough bravery to keep exploring and growing every day. Portobello is ready to find a forever family to help him build confidence, share adventures, and provide plenty of cuddle time.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Portobello is from Aniak! Estimated to be 9+ weeks old. From the looks of his momma, we suspect he may be a Shepherd mix of sorts —mom weighs only around 40 pounds—but dad remains a mystery. We've already gotten mom spayed; she'll be headed back to her loving family once she has a little time to heal! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>FOSTER-TO-ADOPT:<br/><br/>KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (spayed/neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper, Rabies if old enough, microchipped, etc.).
