Portland's Story

Portland came into our care when local rescue needed help with some unwanted puppies, and we were happy to take them in, get them the vet care they needed, and find them loving homes.<br/><br/>Portland is a typical puppy, who enjoys being held for a short time before rocketing off to do puppy things, such as chewing on the shoelaces of anyone in reach.<br/><br/>A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Portland's $480.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Portland. Our adoptions are done on a first come, best match basis.
