Looking for a FOSTER-TO-ADOPT person.<br/><br/>On December 7, 2025, The local shelter was planning to abort the litter and euthanize the mama. Rorescue intervened. That evening in the wee hours of the morning, PORTIA and her siblings were born into our rescue.<br/><br/>PORTIA is now 9 weeks old, weighs a little over 6 lbs, been wormed and had his first two vaccinations. Using the suggest google computations, we estimate that he can reach 37+ lbs as an adult.<br/><br/>PORTIA has very short close cropped fur. We have no idea of her breed. We are guessing she may be part German Shepherd, but her mommy is an 18 lb Siky Terrier.<br/><br/>PORTIA's PERSONALITY: If you are reading this, I assume you are looking for a mix breed larger puppy. This girl is a cuddle-bug. We know how important that babies get lots of human contact to become a socialized loving pet. She has been showered with cuddles and kisses from the hour she was born and loves to snuggle into your arms. AND, she is currently interested in going potty outside. We think she will be easy to train.<br/><br/>We are looking for that perfect person who is willing to FOSTER-TO-ADOPT her until we can complete her vaccinations and get her spayed.
