Meet Porter! This handsome little guy is the perfect "medium" size at under 40 lbs and has quickly stolen our hearts. If you notice Porter's glassy eyes, it's because he has cataracts. While his vision isn't perfect, he can still see and navigate the world around him just fine. <br/><br/>Porter previously lived with a senior gentleman alongside several other dogs. Because of that, he had very little exposure to children or cats before coming to the shelter. Since being here he has met children and has shown that he's quite nervous around them, so we believe Porter would likely thrive best in a quieter, child-free home. <br/><br/>One thing Porter has been excelling at is his housetraining skills. He rarely has accidents in his kennel and seems to enjoy keeping his space clean.
