She was surrendered when her previous family, who loved her and took good care of her, unfortunately could no longer keep her. Porkchop loves being around people, soaks up all the attention she can get, and her gentle and well-mannered personality show that she was well taken are of. She also gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs. While larger dogs can be a bit intimidating to her, she simply chooses to ignore them and keep to her own space. She’s been doing great with pottying outside and settles nicely in her crate, sleeping quietly through the night. Porkchop does have a grade 4 heart murmur, but she is symptom-free and does not require medication. Like many of us, she could benefit from shedding a few extra pounds, and a balanced diet with regular activity will help keep her feeling her best. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion who will happily be your shadow and best friend, Porkchop is ready to fill your home with warmth and affection.

* Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc.
