<b>Don't let this little guys age fool you. Pops doesn't walk, he runs almost everywhere he goes! He is a bundle of energy for a senior pom and he certainly gets his daily exercise following his foster mom everywhere she goes. Pops is 7 pounds of love and will tell you when he needs some personal attention by begging with his paws. If that cute antic doesn't get him what he wants, he sometimes resorts to crying for it. He's smart about getting what he wants. <br><br/> <br/>Pops has kidney decline, heart disease and a grade IV (out of VI) heart murmur, but none of his health issues seem to affect him! He just takes it in stride and keeps up well with the younger pom in his foster home. He will have to be on kidney function food for the rest of his life. The special food he eats causes him to drink a lot of water ,so he is not completely housetrained, but he very patiently tolerates being belly banded. Pops does tell his foster mom when he needs to go out for #2 by whining. <br><br/> <br/>You'd never guess it when you see his foster mom constantly smothering Pops with kisses, but this little guy can have a big attitude when it comes to being brushed and is not shy about telling you by growling and snapping. Pops only has 3 teeth left so luckily he fits the "more bark than bite" description. However, because of this behavioral trait, this very sweet and lovable guy does require an adopter that is willing to pay for professional grooming or that has experience with grooming a cranky dog. <br>He’s mostly a sweetheart and just wants to be with you as much as possible.
