Pops's Story
Pops is a 6 year old, 8.5 pound Chihuahua mix with oversized pointy ears, a long little body, and short stubby legs that make him absolutely irresistible.

This sweet boy has come a long way and while still a teeny shy at first, he warms up quickly. Pops enjoys meeting people, both men and women, and happily soaks up attention from anyone willing to offer it. He's not your stereotypical Chihuahua. He's quiet, mellow, affectionate, and incredibly easy to live with.

Pops loves going for walks and will happily hop right into the car for an adventure. Whether it's a patio lunch date, running errands, or simply hanging out at home, he's content to be your companion. If you work from home, he'll quietly lounge nearby. If you work outside the home, he does just fine on his own and has no separation anxiety and has no accidents during a standard 6-8 hour shift.

He is wonderful with other dogs and we believe he will do well with cats also. While he enjoys canine company, he doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home. Pops is house trained and does best when kept on a consistent routine.

Because loud, fast-moving environments can still be overwhelming for him, Pops would do best in a home without young children. He prefers a calm, predictable environment where he can feel secure and relaxed.

Pops is the definition of an easy companion. He's affectionate without being demanding, happy to join you on adventures or spend the day lounging nearby. For someone looking for a loyal little sidekick with a gentle soul and a wonderfully unique personality, Pops could be the perfect match.
