Meet Poppyseed!<br/>Poppyseed is a 5-month-old Dachshund/Terrier mix who currently weighs 6.5 pounds of pure sweetness and spunk. She’s a perfect combination of playful puppy energy and chill cuddle buddy, with just the right amount of mischief to keep you smiling.<br/><br/>Poppyseed loves toys, chew bones, and wrestling with her dog friends—big or small, she plays with everyone. Once she’s worn out, she melts into the couch for a cozy cuddle session.<br/><br/>This friendly little girl hasn’t met a stranger. She’s happy to greet everyone she meets and has been wonderful with kids (even as young as four!). Expect lots of tail wags and puppy kisses.<br/><br/>Poppyseed is crate trained and does great in her crate at mealtimes, overnight, and throughout the day. She’s working hard on potty training—she’ll need frequent outdoor breaks and a little encouragement when she gets distracted (being cute and curious takes focus!).<br/><br/>She knows the command “come,” learns quickly, and has a fearless, funny personality. She’s smart enough to figure out how to hop on the couch, bold enough to try anything once, and charming enough to get away with it every time.<br/><br/>Ideal Home:<br/>Poppyseed would thrive in a home willing to continue crate training, give her patience with potty training, and help her keep learning as she grows.
