ADOPT A SENIOR MONTH!! Give this precious angel her much needed second chance! This is Poppy Seed! Are you seeking a new best friend or a calm, cuddly companion? Look no further than Poppy! This lovable senior lady would be thrilled to spend her golden years snuggling next to you on the couch, gazing lovingly into your eyes. Poppy is a perfect blend of affection and independence. Shes not needy or prone to separation anxiety, and she loves everyone she meets. She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and is even cat-friendly! At 16 pounds, Poppy is thought to be around 10 years old. Shes a quiet lady who loves her naps but also enjoys neighborhood strolls and car rides. While she requires a special kidney diet and shows some signs of arthritis and cataracts, she still enjoys walks to keep her going. Poppy is a poodle princess and prefers using pee pads in the house to do her business. Were working on house-training her, and shes making great progress. We are so excited to find this lovely girl the family she deserves that cared for her and spoils her rotten! Thank you for your interest in adopting from KY Hopeful Paws. Please read the below requirements before submitting an adoption application. We will reach out to you with any questions, or if your application is approved. You must FULLY COMPLETE the adoption application. We cannot process incomplete applications. All current pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, and must be spayed or neutered. If you have extenuating health circumstances with a pet, please note on your application and provide a letter from your veterinarian with an explanation. Please note: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we cannot reach out to those whose applications are incomplete or are not approved. Please note: this application does not guarantee approval of your application or placement of a dog into your home. Some dogs will receive several applications and others only a few. We attempt to find the best-matched home for each dog. If not selected, your application will remain on file for future dogs. Please note: Our rescue is run solely by volunteers. It may be a number of weeks before you hear back regarding your application. Please be patient as we are trying to work through applications as quickly as possible.
