Poppy

Poppy is a lovely approximately 2-year-old female American Bulldog cross who is ready to find a family to call her own. She came into the shelter as a stray and was understandably nervous in her new surroundings at first, but it didn't take long for her warm and affectionate personality to shine through with the staff she has come to trust.<br/><br/>This playful girl loves her walks (though she would happily skip the cold weather if given the choice!) and has a great time tossing around her toys. Poppy is very people-focused and thrives on attention and affection. When she gets excited, she shows off her adorable zoomies, which never fail to make everyone smile.<br/><br/>Shelter staff was advised Poppy likes to chase cats and small animals, so she is looking for a home without them. She may do well with another dog, and a meet and greet with any resident dog would be required prior to adoption to ensure a good match.<br/><br/>Poppy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
