Poppy's Story

Poppy is a very sweet girl who loves to play with her siblings and foster family - people and pets. She good with the household cats, loves toys, people, playing in the yard, her round pillow bed, pets, tummy rubs, and naps.
Poppy is good in the crate and even chooses the bed in there sometimes if she needs some quiet. She can be playing hard, but if you pick her up and put her on your lap, she will plop down and snuggle immediately.

Poppy isn't much of a barker but may give you a couple opinions if she is sitting looking cute and you don't pick her up as quick as she'd prefer. She is working on potty training and is pretty good about getting to the pads.

Poppy is currently 11.5 lbs. but vet thinks she could possibly grow to be 60-70 lbs.

All puppies are in foster care and are not located in our office. Since all of our puppies are held in private foster homes, we look to have an approved application prior to sending someone to a private residence. If you are interested in adoption, please complete an application. Online applications are located on our H.O.P.E website @ www.hopesafehouse.org.

Upon approval of your application, we will contact you with the foster home phone number to arrange a meet and greet. There is no cost or obligation to apply.

*Basic obedience training classes are required for all puppies at an approved certified training facility of your choice. H.O.P.E. pays $50.00 towards the overall cost of classes. You will be required to leave a $100.00 deposit for training at time of adoption. This deposit is 100% refundable after completing the basic obedience class.

All puppies will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neutered*, microchipped and a 30-day health certificate. *If they are too young to be altered, the fee includes spay/neutered at one of our preferred clinics All pets have a lifetime return policy.

Thank you for your interest.
