HAPPY to meet you!<br/>My name is Poppy, I'm about 1 year old and I weigh about 8 lbs.<br/><br/>I do well in a crate that is covered. I like to try to protect my territory, I mean, I am 60lbs... right? Oh, I'm not! ..Darn. <br/>Dogs, cats, and kids are pretty cool. I get along with them just fine - as long as they don't come near your lap! Then my 60lb self... I mean 10lb self will let out a growl. <br/>My foster mom puts me on the ground and gets up to walk away when I do this. I still don't under why it isn't favorable behavior but, if it makes the humans happy, I am ALL for it! <br/><br/>*Any dog with resources guarding issues will need help to curb this habit as it can lead to serious issues, including bites, if you let it continue.<br/>--------------------------------------<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>We are a small based foster group who help dogs currently in VA, NC (more states soon) on death row find a second chance. Right now we will be running off of donations and fosters homes. So please be patient with us.<br/><br/>You may apply to adopt if you are in a state that surrounds VA state lines!<br/><br/> Adoption Contracts, and vet papers will be given at time of adoption. All dogs will be UTD on shots and spayed/neutered before going to their furever family!<br/><br/>All adoption fees are considered donations! We do not do refunds on donations.
