Poppy's Story

Poppy / Female / 10 weeks / Husky Mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Oshawa

Meet Poppy! This gorgeous girl came to us from Attawapiskat with her sisters, and this majestic Northern mix is already showing us she’s going to be one BIG personality!

Poppy is the perfect mix of spice and sweetness. She LOVES her people, LOVES her doggy friends, and honestly... this girl LOVES FOOD.

She follows her foster family around the kitchen like a tiny supervisor, watching everything they do and making sure absolutely nothing edible escapes her notice.

But what really makes Poppy shine is just how smart and eager to learn she is. Her food motivation makes training a dream, and she picks things up SO quickly!

She took to a leash incredibly quickly and keeps her eyes on her person while walking.
Learning to sit on command? Practically no time at all!
Doing well with potty training.
Doing well with her crate.
Curious, adventurous and always ready to learn something new.

Of course, she’s still a puppy and will need continued training, structure and patience as she grows. But her potential is ENDLESS.

Poppy would absolutely thrive in a home that wants to challenge her, nurture her brain, and give her lots of opportunities to learn and succeed. She’s feisty, confident, playful and SO full of love.

And when all that puppy energy finally runs out? Poppy is perfectly happy to curl up at your feet for a snooze or quietly chew on a toy.

And can we talk about this FUR?!
She is SO soft and fluffy she feels like a little teddy bear!

Poppy is going to be a gorgeous, big, smart, FUN dog with a personality to match. She’s the kind of puppy who keeps you laughing, keeps you moving and keeps you on your toes.

Superdogs, consider yourselves warned. Poppy is coming!

Poppy will be spayed at 6 months of age at one of our approved veterinary clinics, and her spay is included in her adoption fee.

https://forms.gle/agMBYCPMuJpX4QPM6
