<p class="isSelectedEnd">Meet Poppy!</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">This sweet girl was surrendered to a shelter when her owner had to move and couldn't take her along. Despite that, Poppy hasn't lost her loving spirit or her enthusiasm for life!</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Her previous owner shared that she does well with other dogs and children. While she is great with kids, toddlers may not be the best fit simply because Poppy is still young, playful, and sometimes forgets just how much enthusiasm she has. She could accidentally knock over a little one during playtime.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Poppy is used to being around smaller dogs and does very well with them. She also gets along nicely with cats! Larger dogs can still make her a bit nervous, but thanks to the patience of her foster mom and positive exposure, she is slowly learning that big dogs can be friends too.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Poppy weighs about 32 pounds and is just over a year old, so she is still very much a puppy at heart. She can very much be your shadow! She craves love and affection from her humans.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">She loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure. She would be a perfect match for an active home and would love to eventually join a runner on daily outings or become the playful companion another dog has been hoping for.
