Poppy

Poppy promises to follow you to the ends of the earth! She's a 2 year old, 16 pound Chihuahua mix with a curly little tail and short little legs. After some initial shyness, she has learned that she loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch with her people! Her tail is always wagging and she's on her foster mom's heels at all times, keeping tabs on where she's going and what she is doing. <br/><br/>Poppy needed a minute to decompress when she joined her foster home, but she is doing great now with other dogs and we think she'd be fine with cats, too. With slow introductions, we imagine she'd be fine with older children. She's very food motivated so she will be very trainable! But she's also very sure she doesn't like her leash, so that is one of the things she needs training to get used to ;) She is doing well with potty and crate training! She enjoys exploring the yard and partaking in neighborhood squirrel patrol.
