Poppy's Story

Meet Poppy, a 4 month old tiny speckled sweetheart with a whole lot of love packed into her soft, spotted coat! She may be small right now, but this Great Dane/Cane Corso/American Pitbull/Husky mix has big-dog dreams—and even bigger cuddles. When she’s not snoozing adorably in a pile of cozy blankets, Poppy can be found chasing leaves, exploring the world, or bravely trying to convince her much larger foster siblings that playtime is mandatory. Poppy is a gentle, affectionate pup who thrives on connection. She’s already off to a great start with potty and crate training and understands “no” when redirected—proof that she’s eager to learn and please. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s going to grow into an amazing companion. Her perfect forever home is one full of playtime, snuggles, and people who are excited to help her learn and grow. If you’re searching for a loyal little shadow who will fill your days with joy and your couch with cuteness, Poppy is ready to steal your heart ✠̈ Adopt Poppy—because your heart (and lap) deserves a best friend like her. Poppy is being fostered in Asheboro NC. If interested in adopting you can email us at info@greatdanefriends.com. A fenced yard is required so she has a safe place to run and zoom!<br/>*****Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love covers NC and surrounding states for adoptions. We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs - no invisible fencing), that stairs in the home be covered with some sort of slip resistant material to prevent injury, that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family. Our approval process consists of an application, vet and reference checks, phone interview and house check. Please email us for an application or if you have any questions.*****
