Poppy's Story

Meet Poppy 🌸

Poppy is a 7-month-old Goldendoodle weighing 25 lbs with soft curls and the sweetest, most sensitive heart. She can be shy and nervous at first, but once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and truly loves her people.

Poppy came to us with an old broken paw that had already healed improperly. Surgical correction is possible, but it would require a very expensive orthopedic procedure involving plates, pins, and screws — with no guarantee of a pain-free or fully normal leg. After carefully weighing the options with our vet, we chose not to put her through such an invasive surgery.

The good news: she is not in pain and does not require ongoing treatment. Her foot is slightly misshapen and it does not stop her from playing, running, or being her happy, loving self.

Poppy:
• 7 months old
• Sweet and gentle
• Shy at first, devoted once bonded
• Playful and affectionate

She needs a patient, compassionate home that will give her time to trust and love her exactly as she is.

Adoption fee: $750

If you’re ready to give this special girl the forever home she deserves, please fill out an application at mothernaturecare.org 🐾💛
