Poppy<br/>is a very sweet girl who loves to cuddle and loves a good walk. She’s a little on the quiet side since she recently discovered her bark. When she’s excited, her little nub will definitely let you know.<br/><br/>Energy Level?<br/>medium. She loves a good cuddle session, but she also enjoys her time outdoors. She enjoys a good walk.<br/><br/>House trained?<br/>Yes.<br/><br/>Describe how they are on a leash?<br/>She does wonderfully. She does not pull, but she will often stop for sniffs.<br/><br/>Describe how they are with other dogs?<br/>She’s great with other dogs. Currently living with a puppy, and she’s very tolerant of the puppy's behavior.<br/><br/>Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?<br/>Poppy has been fostered<br/>with two cats. She’s wonderful as she doesn’t chase them and gives them plenty of space.<br/><br/>Commands they know?<br/>Currently working on “stay” and “touch”.<br/><br/>What are their favorite things?<br/>She loves to explore the backyard and enjoy the sun. She loves a good walk and cuddling on the couch. She also loves a good treat.<br/><br/>What do they need to work on?<br/>Her cues to go outside to potty are very subtle. So we take her out regularly, whether she needs to go or not. She might beg for food or try to approach your plate if you let her.<br/><br/>How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?<br/>She’s fine left alone. She goes in her kennel and sleeps until we return. She has been left alone for a couple of hours before.<br/><br/>Where do they sleep?<br/>In a kennel. This is a fairly new arrangement, as she was in a pen before. She also sleeps fine on her bed.<br/><br/>What is their ideal home?<br/><br/>Poppy<br/>loves her people, so a house where they will shower her with love would be ideal. She doesn’t require a ton of walking, but she does enjoy her walks. She’s very sweet and loves a good pet session. If you stop before she gets her fill on pets, she will let you know. She does well with other dogs and cats. Has also been around small children and did wonderfully.
