11/09 intake <br/>Sweet Poppy! ! This sweet gal was dumped at a boat dock with her “sister” Violet. <br/>They ran for two weeks before our rescue was able to safely bring them home. <br/><br/>They quickly came out of their shells. Poppy is house and crate <br/>trained and great on a leash. She is about 20 lbs and we believe her to be 10-12 months. She is a character! She gives you the cutest awoooooooo when she sees you and is very affectionate. She is content sitting on the couch for snuggles and is a low energy pup. Although she loves walks and to play! She enjoys getting zoomies around her foster moms yard. she is great with cats, dogs, new people, and even chickens. Poppy lovessss to give kisses and sit in ur lap. She is not shy about asking for snuggles and will climb right over violet to get your attention! <br/>We have not had her around children but based on her personality, kids that would be appropriate for her small stature would be well suited. <br/>She is in a foster home with her sister Violet and would love to be adopted with her but it’s not absolutely necessary. Poppy is an amazing little gal and ready to find her FOREVER home! We feel she would do best in a home with another dog. One whom is confident, playful and will be careful of poppy’s size. She very much likes cats as well and likes to play with her foster families cat! <br/>Message us for an application. <br/>A phone screen, vet check, in person meet and greet, home check and contract will follow.
