She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she warms up quickly and happily soaks up pets, cuddles, and lap time with her favorite people.<br/><br/>Poppie has a small eye injury from a past encounter with a larger dog, but it does not affect her vision or her sweet personality. Because of that experience, she feels safest around small dogs only. This tender girl is ready for a calm, loving home where she can feel secure, cherished, and close to her humans. 🐶✨

Hi there!  So you've decided a furry friend is just what you need?  Please apply on our website, https://bigbonescaninerescue.com to get the ball rolling.  You'll be contacted for a home visit to verify your home is an optimal situation for the pup(s) you're interested in.  At any point, you can make arrangements to meet the dogs you are considering.  Some are in foster care and some are at our facility in Windsor. Big Bones Canine Rescue is located in Windsor, CO.  We have dogs at our shelter location as well as many dogs in foster care all over the state.  We do require appointments to come visit dogs.  Please call or text 970.310.3616 or email us at bigbonesrescue@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
