Poppi's Story
Hi! My name is Poppi and I am looking for a forever home. Me and my friend Pippi were found abandoned on a dirt road in a trash bag by a nice lady who took them in and then contacted a friend of hers that she knew had ties to rescue. After all attempts were unsuccessful to find an owner, BCAA was contacted to see if they could help us and they said yes! While we get along great together, we do not need to be adopted together and are each looking for our own home where we can be loved and cherished and never worry about being thrown out with the trash again. I weigh around 7.5lbs so I will fit about anywhere, and at only aboaut a year old, I love playing and cuddling. I'm a little shy when I first meet new people but with just a little bit of time and lots of TLC, I learn I can trust you and then I love getting lots of attention. I have gotten along with all of the other small dogs I have met and even eat side-by-side with my friend Poppi with no issues; I haven't bothered those things called cats 'cause they are all bigger than me. I have done pretty good in my crate with very few accidents (none if I get out on a regular schedule) and no tearing up of any bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you and may let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I have actually done ok on leash afterI have learned to trust you, and with just a little bit more practice, I know I'll get it down pat. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
