Pope is an 8-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy with a heart as big as his puppy eyes. He’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and sensitive—and very much a velcro dog. If you’re looking for a constant companion who wants to be by your side (or touching you at all times), Pope is your guy.<br/><br/>He absolutely adores other dogs and would love a canine friend to run, romp, and grow up with. Pope thrives on connection and would do best in an active home with people who genuinely want to spend a lot of time with their dog—adventures, daily outings, playtime, and lots of togetherness.<br/><br/>Pope is crate trained, though when he gets very excited to see you, he may still dribble a little (puppy stuff!). Otherwise, he settles well and is a joy to live with. He's great in the house, chews appropriate things and keeps himself out of trouble for the most part. <br/><br/>Because he’s lived a fairly sheltered life so far, Pope can be a bit shy with new experiences. The good news?
