Meet Pop Tart! This gorgeous girl had a rough start with AARF. After spending nearly a month at animal control, she was attacked by her kennel mates at the shelter. Her injuries needed immediate vet care, and she spent the first 2 weeks of her time out of animal control at the vet's office. After battling a bad case of kennel cough and a long recovery from her injuries, Pop Tart is now happy and healthy and ready to find her forever home. Our best guess is that she is a red Doberman / pit bull mix, which means she is incredibly athletic, sweet and snuggly and very loyal. Pop Tart seems to be a little too interested in cats and other small critters, so would do best in a home without small furry friends. She needs an active family, one that up for daily playtime and some adventures! Pop Tart is completely house and crate trained and already knows 'sit' and 'shake'.
