Pooh Bear's Story

Pooh Bear is a 10-week-old Golden Retriever who came into GRRR on October 3, 2026. He is an owner surrender that was born with a birth defect. The birth defect is where a blood vessel stays in the wrong place and forms a tight ring around the esophagus. The good news is that there is a surgery that can correct this called PRAA, Persistent Right Aortic Arch, surgery. Pooh Bear is now in an amazing foster home while he receives the medical care that he needs. We will be making an appointment with the veterinary’s office this week.<br/><br/>We couldn’t do this life-saving work without all of you out there. Please consider helping us cover all his medical expenses using the link below. We will keep you posted on his progress and when he will be available for adoption.
