MEET POOH! STATS: 2 years old, neutered, Lab Mix, 46 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: If chill and sweet is your vibe, I am your boy! I am super laid back and easy going. Everyone who meets me says I melt their heart. I am a really great walker with moderate energy. I am just a sweetie! WHAT I LOVE: I love walks, enjoying the sunshine, and getting cuddles! My foster mom says I REALLY love playing fetch with the tennis ball. I do wonderfully for car rides and I have shown to be housebroken in my foster home. When it comes time for bed, I sleep next to my foster parent’s bed! KIDS: While I haven’ t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my gentle and sweet personality would make me a good buddy for older kids that are respectful and kind towards me. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs, as long as they are gentle and laid back like me! I am currently in a foster home with another dog and we get along great, but I would do great as a single dog too! CATS: I am currently in a foster home with cats and I pay them absolutely zero attention! HIS MATCH: My foster mom says I am an amazing boy! Although I am by no means “high energy,” I do love to run and chase the ball so I would do great with a fully fenced in yard or access to a dog park to enjoy my favorite hobby! I just need a family to sleep next to at night. SPECIAL NOTE: Just like my name suggests, I am as sweet as hunny! Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
