Poochie Pooch

Poochie Pooch has been within a foster home during her time at HAWS, here are some notes from her foster paw-rent:<br/><br/>"Poochie Pooch is such a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves being around people. She's been living with teenagers (ages 14 and 16) and happily soaks up attention from their friends, too. She's playful, goofy, and always ready for fun-especially if that includes tug with her rope toy or chasing tennis balls and squeaky toys outside.<br/><br/>She sleeps soundly through the night right next to her humans and loves having cozy spots to curl up in. Poochie Pooch is very people-oriented and happiest when she's spending time with her family. She's also very smart and eager to learn with the right motivation. She already knows "sit" and is currently working on "down," "leave it," and "wait."<br/><br/>While she's not especially treat motivated, toys, excited praise, and high-value snacks like chicken or beef are the way to her heart. She also takes her medication like a champ when tucked into peanut butter bread or a little piece of chicken.<br/><br/>Poochie Pooch has been doing well settling into home life and has shown herself to be a loving, snuggly companion with lots of personality. She's the kind of dog who wants to be included in everything and will happily bring both energy and affection into her forever home."
